Stained Timber Shutters

Stained and Lacquered Plantation Timber Shutters are made of Basswood and are stained then coated in a clear 2Pak Polyurethane which provides a superior finish for a top quality product. They have many of the same design attributes as the Painted Timber Shutters in regards to fitting types. Stained Timber Shutters have the advantage of a colour palette that ranges from the very light to the very dark in the standard stain colours with custom colours also available. These shutters come with a 25yr structural guarantee and 2yrs on the finish.

Design Features:

Shutter Blade Options:
There are 4 louvre blade options. 64mm, 89mm and 114mm in the elliptical style and a traditional 89mm flat blade.

Louvre Blade Tilting Options:
The most popular option for an uninterrupted view - Clearview,  is the rear of the shutter on the hinged side. The blades are linked by the bar  so by grasping one blade they all move together.
A more traditional look is a Centre tilt rod that act as a handle for operating the blades. This can also be offset 40mm in from the blade edge.

Installation:
This shutter type is internal and are custom made to size and arrive fully assembled with frame options. Standard frames, hardware items (catches and hinges) are included in the price. Generally the hardware items will be pre-fitted onto the frames or there is the option of  hinging straight off timber reveals. Sliding and folding systems are also available to suit different installations.  As installations vary and are sometimes a combination of types, please contact us, we're happy to help.
