Fixed Louvre Shutters

Introducing our new Decorative Fixed Louvre Shutters. Our fixed louvre storm shutters are used most as decorative additions. Some examples of their other uses may be as cupboard doors, screening - both free standing and fixed in place. Incorporated into shop fit outs as above door features and vents, and other DIY shutter projects.

Kit Features:

Custom made:
To the size required using Primed (already undercoated!) H3 Treated Pine, ready for assembly then for a chosen paint top coat to be applied. The hoop pine used, is sourced from Qld and NSW with primer supplied locally by Luxury Paints and then machined here – in our Brisbane factory. A truly genuine Fair Dinkum all Australian product.

Timber dimensions:
44mm wide x 12mm thick louvre blades.
The default stile size (vertical parts) are 42mm wide x 30mm deep. The top & bottom rail depth are as per the quote by 30mm thick (same as the stiles) the rail trim depth is dictated by the finished height.

Assembly:
In conjunction with basic tools and easy to understand assembly instructions they're pretty straight forward. The louvre blades are inserted into the specially machined stile so there is no need to glue or screw them into place. The top and bottom rails are mortice and tenon and by using the supplied screws and a good quality PVA wood glue, it's a very strong frame once assembled.

As our shutters are shipped Australia wide, all care possible is taken with the packaging to ensure they arrive safely at their destination.
