Installation Options:
External Aluminium Plantation Shutters are designed to allow for multiple installation and application types. The most popular application of "Fixing the shutters in place" with Channels and H section - so the blades open and close but the shutter itself doesn't open like a door. Multi-folding or sliding panels on tracks, hinging off existing reveals or with the optional L or Z frames. Combinations of installation types are also achievable.
Louvre Blade Options:
There are 3 blade options: 64mm, the most popular 89mm and 114mm. All have colour coded aluminium end caps as standard.
Blade Tilting Options:
Aluminium Shutters have a Clearview Tilt Mechanism at the front or the back of the shutter. Placement of the bar is always on the hinged side or defaults to the left side of any fixed panels.
Please Note: The tilt Mechanism is also used to tension the blades so it is best to select Clearview on the front of the shutter when the back is inaccessible.
Colour Options:
There are standard powder coat colours available, along with grain effect wraps.

Special Shape:
Shaped Shutters are designed to fit sloped openings. Depending on the area gradient, the blades in the sloped section may be fixed closed, whereas the blades beneath the slope are operable. (surcharges apply)

No, the blade end caps are aluminium that are colour coded to the shutter colour.
